Installation Guide

Windows Installation

  1. Download the Windows installer (.exe) from the download section above.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Choose your installation directory or use the default location.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete.
  5. Launch MCPVave from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.

Note: You may need administrator privileges to install the application.

macOS Installation

  1. Download the macOS disk image (.dmg) from the download section above.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  3. Drag the MCPVave application to your Applications folder.
  4. Right-click on the application and select "Open" to bypass Gatekeeper security on first launch.
  5. The application is now installed and ready to use.

Note: You may need to allow the app in System Preferences > Security & Privacy if you encounter any issues.

Android (APK) Installation

  1. Download the APK file from the download section above.
  2. You may need to enable "Install from Unknown Sources" in your Android device's security settings. The location varies by device and Android version.
  3. Open the downloaded APK file using a file manager.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the application.
  5. Launch MCPVave from your app drawer.

Note: Make sure to grant the necessary permissions when prompted during first launch. Remember to disable "Install from Unknown Sources" after installation if desired.

iOS Installation (Coming Soon)

Instructions for iOS will be available here once the client is released on the App Store.

Web Access

  1. No installation required!
  2. Simply click the "Launch Web App" button above.
  3. The web application will open in your default browser.
  4. For easier access, you can bookmark the page or add it to your home screen on mobile devices.

Note: The web version has the same functionality as the desktop and mobile versions but runs directly in your browser.

Is MCPVave free to use?

Yes, MCPVave is currently free to use during the test phase. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the core functionality will remain free.

When will the smartwatch version be available?

What MCP servers are compatible with MCPVave?

MCPVave is compatible with any MCP server that supports the SSE or STDIO protocols. This includes popular implementations like Puppeteer MCP Server and most standard MCP server implementations.
